Registration Categories:

Member - You must be a member of ARMA Houston Chapter. To receive member pricing, you must be logged in

as a member in the ARMA Houston Chapter website during registration.

Non-Member - Anyone that is not a member of ARMA Houston Chapter.

Student - Anyone enrolled in a post-secondary institution. To qualify for student pricing, you will be required to

submit current proof of enrollment from the school's Registrar within ten (10) days of conference

registration.

Group - A group is three or more people from the same company/business/organization. A group registration

must be completed together and at the same time. Group registration does not consider whether

someone is a member or non-member.

ALHEF Scholarship: (Opening Soon)

ALHEF exists for the purpose of furthering education in the field of information and records management. It is supported by contributions from various chapters of the Association of Records Managers and Administrators International (ARMA), various organizations and individuals within the RIM community. The Houston ARMA Chapter created the Fund in 1985 to honor Alice L. Haltom, CRM at retirement for her untiring efforts to improve the profession of information and records management during her career that spanned more than three decades. Payment:

Payment can be made via American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa. We no longer accept PayPal. Checks or money orders are also acceptable. If paying by check or money order, payment must be received by April 12, 2024. No exceptions. When mailing in payments, please include invoice number on check or money order.

Cancellation Policy:

Registration cancellation with refund is permitted prior to March 29, 2024. Written notice of cancellation must be sent to Yasmin Abrahiem at vpconference@armahouston.org. Transfer of registration is allowed at any time with no fee charged. All transfer requests must be received prior to April 12, 2024. There are no refunds for "no-shows" and no refunds after March 29, 2024.

Networking Activities:

Join your fellow attendees, speakers, and sponsors at our Tuesday night networking social at the Fireside Bar in the Hotel Moran.

You can also be part of the Dine-Around experience. Join a group of 8-12 fellow attendees for a meal Tuesday night with one of our sponsors at a restaurant in City Centre. Specify if you would like to be part of the Dine-Around experience when you register to be included in this fun and exciting networking activity.

GUESTROOM COMMITMENT & RATES

For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at The Moran CITYCENTRE. Each attendee is responsible for his/her/their own reservation through the dedicated ARMA Houston Reservation link or by contacting The Moran Reservations Department at (713)429-1172. When calling to make your reservation, please mention the ARMA Houston Spring Conference in order to receive the discounted rate of $----plus tax. Reservation requests received after ------ will be accepted on a room type available basis at the regular room rate specified by The Moran.

Unless otherwise specified the above rates are based on one or two people in a room with one king bed. There is an extra person charge of $20.00 per person, per night for more than two people in the same room. Children under the age of 17 staying with a parent or legal guardian stay complimentary.

Should an ARMA Houston guest request special luggage attention there is a porterage fee of $6.00 round trip. Gratuities go directly to the employees who are responsible for the deliveries.

The above non-commissionable rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes which are currently 17% and are subject to change without notice.

The Hotel imposes a Destination Fee of $10.00 plus tax per room/per night. The fee includes: WIFI, Morning Fresh Fruit/Pastry/Coffee/Tea Service, Free local and toll-free calls, 2 Bottled Waters, and use of on property fitness center.

An early departure fee of one night's room and tax will apply if an attendee checks out prior to the confirmed checkout date.

If an attendee with a guaranteed reservation does not check in or cancels the reservation less than seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival, the individual's one night deposit will be forfeited or the credit card on record will be charged for one night.

A valid credit card is required at the time of booking.

Package and box deliveries for attendees that would like to ship materials to the hotel for the conference. Materials may be shipped for arrival two days in advance of the conference. The hotel will store the materials in a secure location pending the attendee's arrival. Pricing:

0-25 lbs - $10.00 per box

25-55 lbs - $25.00 per box

55-100 lbs and cases - $50.00 per box

100 lbs (pallets) - $100.00 per box

Complimentary Self-Parking is available in the attached CITYCENTRE One parking garage. Levels 3 and 4 offer complimentary parking for hotel guests. Access to the hotel is located on Level 3 via the Skybridge, found in the Southeast corner of the garage.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES

ARMA Houston guest may check-in to their guestrooms after 3:00pm. Check-out time is 11:00am.
